I’ve been a writer for Hamish & Andy on their original Channel 7 Sketch Show, their Channel 10 series Real Stories and for series 1 & 2 of their hit show True Story on Channel 9.

I’ve worked on the popular ABC music quiz show Spicks & Specks, the top rating 2018 reunion show, and was head writer on the 2019 Aus Music and 2020 specials.

I was head writer and animation director for three seasons of the ABC’s award-winning kid’s sketch series You’re Skitting Me, a writer on the absurd ABC comedy series Problems, the ABC clip show When TV Was Awesome, Channel 10’s latest comedy series Kinne Tonight and many other sketch shows.

I conceived storylines and wrote full episodes of Channel 7’s live-action/animated kid’s series Larry the Wonderpup and after helping develop the all new Family Feud, starring Grant Denyer, I became Grant’s writer and the show’s contestant producer for over 200 episodes.

I spent two seasons as head writer on the Adam Hills talk show Adam Hills In Gordon St Tonight, and four years as head writer on the comedy, talk show Rove.

I’ve done a lot of radio work too, starting as a writer & OB presenter for the original breakfast show line up of Hughesy, Kate & Dave on Melbourne radio station Nova 100. I also presented the Summer Breakfast Show on Nova with Meshel Laurie and wrote ad copy and imaging for various clients. Right now I’m developing ideas and topical material for Melbourne’s top rating Christian O’Connell Show on Gold 104.3

My many years on stage as a stand-up comedian and sketch performer include six Melbourne International Comedy Festival shows and in 2001 I co-wrote and performed Brian Munich & Friends which won the 2001 Age Newspaper’s Critic’s Award and Barry Award for best show of the festival.

I’ve also lectured on the subject of comedy writing at The Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), The WA Academy of Performing Arts (WAPA), RMIT and Melbourne University.
